Andrew Ferrie FCA
Andrew is one of the founding partners of Atkins Ferrie. After training with a firm in Hereford and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1983, Andrew moved to Cornwall in 1986 to join the Helston office of one of Cornwall's largest firms of accountants. Andrew became a partner in 1988 and following a brief spell running the Truro office, the firm demerged into three separate practices and together with Mike Atkins, Andrew formed Atkins Ferrie in 1991.
Andrew's general practice background has given him a wide experience in all aspects of taxation and accountancy for the smaller business. He also deals with a large number of personal tax cases including overseas clients.
Outside the office he is a supporter of the ShelterBox charity, having undertaken a trip to Ecuador to help relay supplies to the victims of the volcano in 2006.
Tom Tripp FCCA
Tom was born in Hayle and educated at The Humphry Davy Grammar School, Penzance. After qualifying at a large firm he joined Atkins Ferrie in 2000 and became a Partner in 2003.
Tom's main area of expertise is within the corporate sector and he acts for many of the larger clients of the firm as well as handling company acquisitions, disposals and corporate finance activities in general.
Tom also looks after the overseas activities of our corporate clients. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (London), has studied strategy and motivation on courses at Exeter University and holds leadership qualifications recognised by the Mountain Leadership Training Board.
Hannah Collison MAAT FCCA
Born and educated in Peterborough, Hannah moved to Cornwall and began her accountancy career in Helston before moving to a practice in Falmouth in 1990.
She qualified there as an Accounting Technician and subsequently as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Hannah joined Atkins Ferrie in 2004 as a Manager with a strong following of clients. She became a Partner in 2007.
Having considerable experience in many types of industry, Hannah's specialist areas are; Companies and owner managed businesses, all aspects of personal and corporate taxation, professional advice and support on accountancy software applications.
Hannah enjoys canoeing, walking and horse riding in her spare time.
