Andrew Ferrie FCA

Andrew trained with a firm in Hereford and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. He moved to Cornwall in 1986 to join the Helston office of one of Cornwall's largest firms of accountants becoming a partner in 1988. Following a brief spell running the Truro office, the firm demerged into three separate practices and he and Mike Atkins formed Atkins Ferrie in 1991.

His general practice background has given him a wide experience in all aspects of taxation and accountancy for the smaller business. He also deals with a large number of personal tax cases including overseas clients.

Outside the office he is a member of the Helston-Lizard Rotary club and a trustee of the ShelterBox charity, having undertaken a trip to Ecuador to help relay supplies to the victims of the volcano in 2006.

Tom Tripp FCCA

Tom was born in Hayle and educated at The Humphry Davy Grammar School, Penzance. After qualifying at a larger firm he joined Atkins Ferrie in 2000 and was admitted as a Partner in 2003.

Tom's background is mainly corporate and he acts for many of the larger clients of the firm as well as handling company acquisitions, disposals and corporate finance activities in general. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (London), has studied strategy and motivation on courses at Exeter University and holds leadership qualifications recognised by the Mountain Leadership Training Board.

His interests include motorsport, travel, and generally enjoying life to the full!

Hannah Collison MAAT FCCA

Hannah moved to Cornwall from Peterborough and began her accountancy career in Helston before moving to a practice in Falmouth. She qualified there as an Accounting Technician and subsequently as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001. Hannah joined Atkins Ferrie in June 2004 as a Manager with a strong following of clients. She became a Partner in 2007.

Having considerable experience in many types of industry, Hannah's specialist areas are; Companies and owner managed businesses, all aspects of personal and corporate taxation, professional advice and support on accountancy software applications
