Martin Laity FCCA

Martin is from Cornwall and originally from a farming background. He moved into accountancy in 1993 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997. Although living in Helston he started out in Falmouth based practices, later moving to a practice in Penzance, before coming to work for Atkins Ferrie in 2006. He has had a wide variety of experience over the years in audit, accounts, direct and indirect taxation, enquiry and investigations. He is therefore a good all rounder, but perhaps mainly best used to dealing with owner-managed companies and their associated issues.

Kate Hutchins ACA BSc(hons)

Kate was born in Basingstoke in 1976 and educated in Hampshire. She went to university in Edinburgh and then moved back to Reading to join a small firm of Chartered Accountants. She completed her training and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 2002 when she made the decision to relocate to Cornwall having worked at a firm in Penzance for four years before moving to Atkins Ferrie in 2006.
